Mak Envirocool is nano insulation technology infused micro fiber reinforce waterproofing coating system. It is single component liquid applied flexible water & ultra violet resistance waterproofing membrane suitable for all types of expose roof, slab, terrace etc. It helps in reduction of energy usages by less heat transfer into buildings thus keeps the interiors cool. The coating serves the dual purpose of thermal reduction & with additional waterproofing protection. The excellent crack bridging property of Mak Envirocool revenge water leakages detect cause due to hair line cracks develop on the roof surfaces. This multipurpose product serves as waterproofing coating system with thermal reduction property which results in extended roofs/terrace/water tanks life.

Features:

Storage Conditions/Shelf life:

• Best before 12 months if stored properly in undamaged and unopened original 2 | P a g e 1 9 / 1 0 / 0 1 sealed packaging in dry and cool conditions.

Consumptions:

2 sqm per litre per coat. *Coverage may vary depending upon the texture and porosity of the surface.

Method of Application:

Surface Preparation:

• substrate should be clean and dry, homogeneous, free from oil and grease, dust and loose or friable particles, free from paint, cement laitance, old coatings and any other contaminants All new cement sand renderings, concrete surfaces should be allowed to age for minimum of 28 days before coating.

• Ensure that the roof slope is a minimum of 1 in 100 to enable water runoff.

• In case of old terrace, the substrate must be checked. Damaged or hollow portions, sharp edges, etc. must be cut and repaired with Surface cracks must be filled with (Mak Plast & Mak Crete) in case of wider cracks.

• Bitumen based waterproofing treatments must be completely removed by mechanical scarification or by any other effective mechanical means. 

Application:

• Mak Prime Cryl is single component product available in ready to use form.

• Apply one coat of Mak Prime Cryl @6 to 8 sqm / l. Allow it to dry 2 to 3 hours.

• Apply the first coat of Mak Enviro Cool at the rate of 2 sq. m per l and do not spoil the dry surface while walking on it for application.

• Time interval between coats to be 4 to 6 hours.

• Apply 2nd coat of the product perpendicular to the 1st coat with same application rate.

• Allow the coated surface to air cure fully for 3 days. The above mention times may vary depending on temperature, humidity and ventilation at site.
